From London mainline train stations take the Undergound to either Piccadilly Circus or Green Park and walk along the main road. The Geological society entrance is on the main road, not in the courtyard! See images below.
Accomodation
London has great hotel accomodation, but it is expensive, so we advise booking early if you would like to be within walking diatance.
The underground (subway) is very good, meaning you can easily commute in from further away in town where prices are cheaper.
Univeristy College London rents out rooms in student residences over the summer for as little as £50 per night, which are a great budget option see here for details.
